Our Venue

A block booking of rooms has been made for Cyclone Workshop attendees.  The rates quoted here are better than those that you will find online with the hotel.  Your one-night deposit is required by 15 August 2013.

Double Occupancy Rooms

Sharing a room is a great way to save a bit of money during the Workshop.  If you are having trouble finding someone to share with, contact us and we will try to match you up with another attendee.

Includes all meals - $124 CAD per night ($620 total)

Single Occupancy Rooms

The venue for the Cyclone Workshop this year is large enough to accommodate a large number of single-occupancy requests.

Includes all meals - $172 CAD per night ($860 total)

Le Chantecler Hotel

This will be the first time that the Cyclone Workshop is held at the Chantecler Hotel.  The original Laurentian venue (the Far Hills Inn) has finally been renovated and re-opened; however, there is little left of the original feeling of the old hotel, including the French chef.

The Chantecler Hotel boasts modern meeting rooms and a beautiful lake-side location.  We hope that it will prove to be an enjoyable venue for the Workshop.

Complete your reservation form and return it to Le Chantecler

Getting There

There are a number of ways to get from Montreal’s Trudeau Airport to the Cyclone Workshop venue in Sainte Adele

The conference hotel is located in Sainte Adele, about 45 minutes north of Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport on Highway 15.  For attendees from the United States, a domestic flight to either Burlington, VT or Plattsburgh, NY might be a bit cheaper than flying directly into Montreal.  Note, however, that you will likely need to rent a car if you fly into an American destination.

To get from the airport to the hotel, you can rent a car (parking is free at Le Chantecler), carpool, or take public transit from the Berri

bus station (approximate cost: $10).  Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide a shuttle service from the airport.  However, Limousine Eccentric offers special rates for workshop participants.

In order to limit the number of vehicles being taken to the Workshop, we will try to help with the organization of car pools if required.  If you are unable to find colleagues to carpool with, contact us and we will try to match you up with other attendees.
