  • Tcl Description

Tcl (pronounced "tickle") is the native scripting languange for Vis5D+, and is relatively easy to learn for anyone familiar with other flavours of shell scripting. An excellent introduction to the Tcl language and its applications to Vis5D+ can be found in the original Vis5D documentation. Alternatively, there is a local copy of the same page - this version may not be as up-to-date as the original.

You have to have Tcl built on your system before you compile Vis5D+ in order to gain full support for the language. Minimal support is provided internally, but the interface is really only useful if you have the Tcl interpreter properly enabled. You can download the latest version of the Tcl package from SourceForge.
