Additional Policies:
Attendance for this class is not mandatory and will not be taken. However, due to the fast pace and scientific nature of the course, attendance is highly recommended. Any class notes missed due to absence will NOT be made available unless an acceptable excuse can be provided.
Grades will be assigned based on the standard University
undergraduate grading policy. Upon calculation of the final grades, the
instructor may apply a curve or adjustment at his discretion.
Course grades will be assigned according to the +/- system.
Homework assignments are due at the beginning of class on the date announced. There will be a 50% deduction per class day LATE without a documented excuse.
All exams will be cumulative with an emphasis on the previous week’s material.
Enthusiasm, diligence,
persistence, and upward trends could make the difference if you are on the line
between two grades.
