Research

I am currently a graduate student (PhD) at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University at Albany, SUNY, New York and work with Dr. Chris Thorncroft on assessing the importance of storm tracks over the tropical oceans for possible tropical storm development. My recent work focuses mainly on the tropical Atlantic Ocean and the characteristics and interannual variability of storm tracks coming off the West African coast.

Academics

I received my M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, Massachusetts, under the supervision of Dr. Frank Colby in 2002 and finished my undergraduate studies with a M.S. (“Philosophie Magister”) in Meteorology from the Meteorological Institute at Stockholm University, Sweden in 1998. You are welcome to read more about my academic and professional career in my Curriculum Vitae.
