Storm Chasing

     Welcome!

I am a graduate student in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric
Sciences at the University at Albany, where I am currently working
on my masters under the advisement of Dr. Lance Bosart.  I graduated
from Valparaiso University in 2007 with a B.S. in Meteorology and
a minor in Mathematics.

My Masters research is on mesoscale convective complexes in the
southwest United States.  During June, July, and August, the southwest
US receives the majority of its precipitation and severe weather.
I will be using dynamic tropopause maps to see what role PV
streamers have in creating these large and potentially destructive
storms.
