Hello! I am a PhD student in the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Science at the University at Albany; SUNY working under the advisement of Dr. Mathias Vuille.
I am currently studying the isotopic hydrology of the South American Monsoon System over the last millennium using a synthesis of paleoclimate records and earth system models. Through this analysis I hope to better understand the sensitivity of the system to internal variability and external forcings. For more information, please visit my research page!
I am broadly interested in the variability of the global climate system, and the sensitivity of the climate system to internal and external forcings. I study this by looking at a combination of paleoclimate evidence and Earth system models to study how dynamical processes interact across temporal and spatial scales. Through better understanding variability of the past we can better constrain uncertainties in climate projections and inform adaptation to future climate change.
