Welcome! My
name is Scott Sukup and I am a former graduate
student at the University at Albany in the Department of Atmospheric and
Environmental Sciences, where I recently completed my master’s degree during
August 2010. Under the
advisement of Dr. Lance F. Bosart, my thesis
research involved determining the influence of upper-level potential vorticity disturbances (PVDs) on mesoscale
convective systems (MCSs) and severe weather in the southwest United States
during the North American Monsoon season. To find out
more about me and my research use the links above, where you can also find
some useful weather forecasting and atmospheric science research links! |
