Welcome! My name is Scott Sukup and I am a former graduate student at the University at Albany in the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, where I recently completed my master’s degree during August 2010.

Under the advisement of Dr. Lance F. Bosart, my thesis research involved determining the influence of upper-level potential vorticity disturbances (PVDs) on mesoscale convective systems (MCSs) and severe weather in the southwest United States during the North American Monsoon season.
