Simulation of Training TCs During Early September 2008

General Description

Below are a series of loops generated from two high resolution CMCGEM simulations covering the period of training tropical cyclones over the North Atlantic during early September 2008. Both simulations are run at 11-km horizontal grid spacing with the Kain-Fritsch convective parameterization scheme. The first simulation is a 144-h integration beginning at 1200 UTC 1 September while the second simulation is a 60-h integration beginning at 0000 UTC 5 September.
