     chemical properties. 

2)    What is a “covalent bond?”

3)    What is “hydrogen bonding” and why is it so important to H2O?

4)    Distinguish between “temperature” and “heat.”  What is a “calorie?”

5)    What is the definition of “one standard atmosphere?”

6)    What is “latent heat?”

7)    Be familiar with the heat (amount of calories)  necessary to move water back and

     forth through its various phase changes.

8)    Know Earth’s water distribution.

9)    Give examples of water around Earth in each phase:  liquid, solid and gas.
