- Dynamics of cool-season variability on timescales of days to weeks
- Tropopause and jet dynamics
- Synoptic processes in troposphere-stratosphere coupling
- The interaction between weather systems and stratospheric flow
- Predictability and uncertainty of high-impact weather at subseasonal lead times
