National Weather Service and DAES Renew CSTAR Research Partnership

Our department’s long-standing partnership with the National Weather Service has spanned the educational and research milieu for many years. For more than a decade, faculty and graduate students have played a key role in transferring research to operations via the Collaborative Science, Technology and Applied Research (CSTAR) program. Recently, the CSTAR program received a new three-year grant, thus extending the program through 2016.
