7. View NNW to outcrop of the hinge of the Gashit Fold, near the mouth of Airl Gah Valley. In this outcrop, fold is within metasedimentary cover, ~1 km west of the edge of Jalhari Granite. Fold accommodates regional overturning (eastward dip) of MMT footwall, and is surely due to W-verging, E-dipping Airl-Gah/Diamir Shear Zone. North and East of this point, layering is predominantly E-dipping. South & West of this point, layering is predominantly W-dipping (note W-dipping cover rocks in background on far side of Bunar Gah). Hinge line plunges ~ 20°N.
