My research currently focuses on tropical cyclones (TCs) in the Southwest Indian Ocean (SWIO), as this subject matter has not been significantly researched in any peer-reviewed literature. I am working on creating a climatology of extratropical transition (ET) events throughout the SWIO, back to 1989. Links to some of these data are provided below. Note: A few of these links are to raw working directories, and may not be well organized.
Future research topics may include exploring the downstream development patterns associated with Southern Hemisphere ET events, possibly examining aspects of the weather over data- and/or research-sparse regions (such as Africa), as well as further research into various aspects of and associated with tropical cyclones.
