Career Interests

  • Working as a catastrophe model scientist in the private sector is very appealing to me because I enjoy numerical weather model development, implementation, and verification related to hazardous meteorological phenomena. I am currently learning more about how my interests overlap with goals of (re)insurance industry teams.

Personal

I enjoy living an active lifestyle outdoors when not in the office, which goes hand-in-hand with my interest in atmospheric science. Ski, bike, hike - you name it, especially if my dog can tag along. When I can't get outside, time with my fiancée, music, and videogames help me unwind too. Regularly seeing family and friends is extremely important to me, so I will be mainly looking at career opportunities in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic regions. Cheers if you made it this far.
