Curriculum Vitae
Welcome!
I'm a graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences at the University at Albany, where I am working toward my Ph.D. under the advisement of Drs. Daniel Keyser and Lance Bosart. I received an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University at Albany in 2005, and a B.S. in Meteorology from Penn State in 2002.
My main research interests lie in synoptic-dynamic meteorology and forecasting. Topics I've studied recently include extratratropical transition, terrain-modulated cold-air outbreaks, planetary-scale regime transitions, Rossby wave trains, and meso- and synoptic-scale heavy precipitation events.
