Class Objectives

Formulate testable scientific hypotheses arising from the highly unusual track, structure and behavior of TC Sandy, evaluate these hypotheses through a "soup-to-nuts" multiscale (time and space) detailed diagnostic and prognostic analyses of TC Sandy, and investigate predictability and forecasting-related issues within the context of the multiscale analysis process.
