Welcome to my home page

My name is Ahmed Shaaban. After graduating from the Physics and Computer Science department in May 2007, I joined The Egyptian Meteorological authority. I served as a researcher in the scientific research department. I earned my master's in Atmospheric Sciences from the University at Albany-Sate university at new York in May 2015. I am currently working toward a Ph.D. degree. During my master's, I studied the variability of the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) and ENSO, emphasizing the IOD and its impact on Eastern African precipitation. Currently, I am studying the vertical structure of the Kelvin wave.
