New NSF grant will fund Minder group's participation in the
Winter Precipitation Type Research Multi-scale Experiment (WINTRE-MIX). This will involve a major field campaign in northern New York and southern Quebec to study the processes affecting precipitation type in near-freezing storms. Learn more

August 2021: Justin and Dr. Sara Lance lead the 2-week long
UAlbany Weather, Climate, and Chemistry Camp.
Nineteen students from around the Capital Region spent the week at UAlbany getting a hands-on introduction to the science of weather, climate, and atmospheric chemistry. Thanks to all who helped make the camp possible!
