ABOUT THE CAMP
What? Where? When? Who?
The camp takes place on the University at Albany Campus hosted by the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences and the Atmospheric Science Research Center. It is organized by UAlbany faculty and has been funded by grants from the William Gundry Broughton Foundation, Bender Scientific, and the National Science Foundation.
CAMP ACTIVITIES
Hands-on learning from experts
Learn to forecast the weather. Visit a mountaintop weather observatory. Conduct experiments. Learn about careers and college opportunities. Launch a weather balloon. Understand the causes and consequences of air pollution and climate change.

The camp meets daily, on weekdays, from August 2–11. Students in grades 9-12 are eligible to apply. There is no cost to students and lunch is provided.
